Blackwater Pony Club is all about encouraging and promoting horsemanship in all generations. Its a fun place to learn how to take care both of your horse and yourself. Qualified Instructors are on hand to teach you all you need to know. Whether its the basics like which end of the horse is which and how do I get on, to more advanced stages such as Dressage or Jumping, Pony Club is a safe and friendly place to get started or even to get re-started.
Pony Club is also a wonderful support network for NON-HORSEY PARENTS who have found themselves with a horsemad child and a horse but have no clue what they are doing. Other parents are able to help and advise whenever possible as well as adult riders and instructors (who between them have years of experience and are only too willing to help).
Here at Blackwater Pony Club our members ages range from 4 yr olds up to 50 yr old. While pony club is primarily for children BPC welcomes adult riders. Many more adults are joining Pony Club to regain their lost skills and confidence or simply because they always wanted a pony but until now have never had the opportunity and need a safe environment to learn what to do with their new found best friend.
